Tara was the answer I needed and had been searching for. Her techniques and the way she looks at anxiety and life in general are different than any other coach or therapist I have worked with before. She always reminds you to go back to where your true Power lies, on the inside. But it goes beyond just "looking inside", because so many people talk about that process. Tara's way of understanding what is going on gives you a completely different way of defining and understanding emotions you have been ealing with for years. Its like she shows you how to flip a light switch on which gives you the ability to see things in a whole new way. And it is this new "visiblity" that allows you to begin to heal not just power through. If someone asked me if they should work with Tara on anything that causes them anxiety or stress I would say YES. What are you waiting for? Thank you Tara P Coaching for allowing me to find myself.
Tara has taught me so much about how to deal with life stressors that affect my ability to maintain a peaceful state of mind and body. I've learned that my body, when agitated, is trying to alert me about something. When I embrace the agitation as helpful, it reduces the intensity. When I ignore it, it gets more intense in an attempt to get my attention. I've also learned how to enhance my parasympathetic nervous system to help my body calm down through nutrition, bodily movements and mindfulness techniques. These things 100% work. I now use them preventively and at the earliest signs of agitation to help my body stay in a calm state which was my goal when beginning to work with Tara. Early on in our work, I felt I needed Tara to talk me through these things. Slowly I learned to do them on my own. I am in a much healthier state of being thanks to Tara's wisdom and guidance.
I have had the joy of working with Tara for almost 2 years. As an anxious person I have spent hours with therapists & other mental health professionals, asking does it get any easier? Am I crazy? I would be told how great I was doing while I felt like I hadn’t moved at all. Not even 5 minutes in Tara immediately recognized the thick hold my anxiety had on me, how it shaped my thoughts & actions. She helped me to understand my imposter syndrome, viewing my entire history as a whole & seeing where my issues began, unbeknownst to myself & not of my fault. Tara struck down any negative comment I’ve made of myself, helping me to distinguish me from the negative voice trying to run my thoughts. With all these difficult things to learn & grow from, Tara constantly helped to reassure & provide me with a positive perspective on myself. This growing perspective, birthed the self-respect I have for myself today. During my ups & downs, Tara has stalwartly stood by my side, going for what is best for me. You may think from this description she’s too perfect, that she would make you feel less of yourself. But far from it. Just like everyone else, Tara has battled with her own mental health & she will tell you just as much. If you want to work on your own healing I can think of no better professional who bridges the gap between provider & client. Tara is the quintessential of a life coach, someone who wants to see you grow & thrive, & will never abandon you. I wish every single person on this planet could speak with Tara, healthy mentally or not, Tara is someone everyone would like to have in their corner.
I cannot begin to express how much Tara helped during a very rough time filled with confusion and stress! She showed me how to reconnect and align with my own inner belief system and truths, which lead me closer to God and the life he wants me to have. She provided the missing steps I needed to help me make empowered decisions regarding some pretty big life changes. She provided a safe place for me to really grow and change my life. I am grateful.
Tara is a Coach like no other. Her directions, ideas, homework and ways to deliver information was a perfect match for me. Not only did she have a different way at helping me through a very hard time in my life but her compassion, sense of humor, and her analogies made it much easier to grasp the new ideas she was bringing to the table. She has a talent for making some hard concepts easier to understand. She has a very tender heart and I can tell she has been through a lot and has a lot of education in these things which made me feel safer opening up with her. I truly appreciated her "check-ins" when the going was rough. (Not to mention those were free which further proved to me she cared about me not the money). I really felt from the get go she was different and what she had to offer was very different which was just what I needed because nothing else seemed to work long term for me.
